Perspective is everything, and so, when we choose to see our actions through the lens of abundance, we embody the energy of that abundance over the feelings of lack.
When you spend your energy, view it from the perspective of making an investment. Where do you want to invest your energy? Where do you feel it is NOT warranted? If you are mindful of your actions as being investments instead of obligations or chores, or whatever the case may be, then it will be a lot easier for you to prioritize your actions, which will provide you with more energy for what you love.
Similarly, when you spend your money, view it not from the perspective of depleting your resources, but from the perspective of investing in your well-being, in your family, in your quality of life, in your business, in your passions, etc. When you perceive your spending from the perspective of abundance, you will receive a return on that investment, and you will feel a lot more relaxed about your choices and decisions when it comes to how you use your money.
So, when the next utility bill comes or tax bill or you spend money on groceries or servicing your car or buying a new coat, or whatever you choose and need to spend money on, see it as an INVESTMENT in yourself, in your lifestyle, see it as providing you with the comforts that you enjoy, see it as giving you pleasurable experiences, and so on. Because the more you view your spending from the viewpoint of abundance, the more abundance will show up for you in your life; an abundance of money, but also an abundance of time to do the things that you love to do.
Always remember, you are not “spending” your energy; you are investing your energy. You are not spending your money; you are investing your money. The former implies a depletion of resources, whereas the latter always infers a ROI. Try it out for yourself and feel the difference. See how your reality shifts.
